MinneTrials

MinneTrials is a smaller, local robotics competition in Minnesota for teams in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). During this season, Team 2181 GEARS splits into a few smaller groups, and each group builds its own simpler robot to compete.

This is a learning-focused season where both new and experienced members practice skills like building, coding, and teamwork. Because the team is divided into smaller groups, more students get chances to lead and try different roles.

The team meets twice a week, and also spends time on community outreach and fundraising to get ready for the main competition season later in the year.
