FRC 2181 GEARS was founded in 2007 during the FIRST Rack 'N' Roll season. We are a team of over 45 students and over 13 mentors. We are a high school robotics team from Blaine High School in Blaine, MN. We give students in grades 9-12 the opportunity to experience real-world engineering and business problems through the FIRST Robotics Competition. Each October to December, our team builds scaled-down robots to train and learn in a competition called MinneTrials. Then, from January to March, our team builds a brand new robot to compete against other teams from around the world in the FIRST Robotics Competition.
